e-Nabling The Collaborative Supply Chain

The event is June 15, 2004 in the Dibner Library Auditorium between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Individuals within the retail supply chain responsible for the ongoing improvement of the flow of product and information from the supplier to the consumer. It will also provide an opportunity where companies and their trading partners can learn to work collaboratively to take costs out of their supply chains and increase their profits.

The program will provide a learning experience for industry personnel to improve product availability to the consumer by identifying, developing and implementing volunteer standards, protocols, guidelines, and other mechanisms., When properly utilized, this is expected to lead to better respond reaction to consumer demand and to optimization of production and carrying costs.

Attendees will learn about the advantages and value of such powerful business processes and tools as Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR®), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and Floor-Ready Merchandise as they grow and evolve, improving sales and profitability for the companies that implement them.
